SAUGATUCK ROWING CLUB MEMBERSHIP POLICY

 

CHECK-IN

Members must check-in at the front desk upon entering the facility. If you do not have your key fob, please give your name to the front desk attendant so they may check you in manually.

 

GUEST POLICY

Members may bring the same guest twice per month, only.

Guest Fees:
• $25 per day
• $100 per week

 

FITNESS CENTER

Guests of the fitness must be at least 18 years old. Minors (12–17) may work out in the gym on Saturday and Sunday, after 12:00pm, when accompanied by an adult / guardian.

 

TEMPORARY FREEZE

Members are allowed to freeze their membership 3 months per calendar year for a $25 fee per month. Freeze will begin on the 1st of the month and notice must be given prior. No partial months allowed and refunds will not be given. Members must submit their through our Freeze Request Form. Questions, please email membership@saugatuckrowing.com

 

MEDICAL FREEZE

Members may freeze their membership due to a medical condition, without fee, as long as supporting medical documentation is provided. Requests must be submitted via our Freeze Request Form. Please email medical documentation to: membership@saugatuckrowing.com. Members must provide a start and end date. Dues will automatically commence at the expiration of freeze. It is the members’ responsibility to extend freeze if necessary. Dues will not be refunded retroactively if extension request is not submitted in writing before the expiration of original medical freeze request.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

If you have a month-to-month contract you may cancel with 30 day notice: i.e. if you cancel January 10th, you will be charged February dues and have access throughout the month of February. Your membership will terminate the end of February.

If you have an annual contract, you may terminate the first year by giving 30 days notice plus a $200 cancelation fee.

If you are moving more than 25 miles away, we will waive the cancellation fee. 30 day notice still applies. You must provide official documentation (i.e. cable bill or letter from school on school letterhead, etc) with new address.

All termination requests must be submitted via our Termination Request Form.

REFERRALS

Members receive one complimentary month of membership (max 2 months per calendar year per member) with each new member referral. The referral credit does not apply to rejoining members, and new members must note name of referral on application. If a new members signs up for an annual contract, the credit will appear in the member’s account immediately.

Membership is happy to extend a complimentary trial pass to all prospects. Prior notice is required. Please email Membership@saugatuckrowing.com to set that up. Guest can be signed up for a Group Class with prior authorization and subject to availability.

 

DECLINE FEES

If your credit card is declined, a new payment method is required within 7 days. If you fail to provide a new form of payment, you will incur a non-refundable $15 decline fee.                                               

 

WEATHER POLICY

In the event of forecasted snow or ice, please check the APP and Club’s website for updates regarding delay or cancellation. In addition, we will also send out an email to membership and update social media if timely.

 

ROWING

Members have access to reserve and take out 1x or 2x on their own but must first get approval and access from a Coach. The safety traffic patterns and rules of the river must be followed or members can lose their access to club equipment.
